PANKICHI-KEN 17 : Chie-san Chie-san. A waiting staff at Pankichi-ken. Actually, her name is "Chie", but in Japan, it is not very polite to call somebody by just the name. Instead, they would would put "san" after the name so that it sounds politer. So, she is called Chie-san at Pankichi-ken, showing her a respect. Though she looks like young girl, even a student, she actually has more life experiences than you would expect... チエさん。 ぱん吉軒のウェイトレス。 彼女の名前は「チエ」なのですが、 日本では人の名前を呼び捨てにするのはちょっと失礼です。 名前の後ろに「さん」をつけると、丁寧になるのです。 彼女に敬意を示すため、ぱん吉軒では「チエさん」と呼ばれています。 彼女は若く見えますが、ヘタしたら学生さんみたいに見えますが、 実は貴方が想像するより、豊富な人生経験を持っているのです。 Chie-san. October 2018 - Summer is officially finished and now we are waiting for Christmas!

We have just entered into October and it's very cold in London. Maybe it's about the time when we start finding hot chestnuts sellers on the street. The roasted chestnuts sold on European street looks so tempting, but when you actually buy and taste it, they seldom satisfy your expectations. Maybe your expectations are too high. By the way, October Pidans are disguising as chestnuts. They are so good that they don't look like Pidan at all anymore.. 10月になって、ロンドンはすっかり冷え込んできました。 そろそろ街角で、焼き栗売りの姿を見かける季節です。 ヨーロッパの街角で売ってる焼き栗って、とてもおいしそうに見えるのですが、 実際買ってみると、そんなにおいしいわけではないんですよねえ。 多分、期待が大きすぎるのかな。個人的には、日本の天津甘栗の方が好き。 さて、10月のピータンは、全身を使って栗の仮装。 もうすでに、ピータンでなくなってる。 October is the month to enjoy sports in Japan!
